Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
LocalsFlow ("LocalsFlow," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law in Ontario.
By using our website or submitting one of our forms, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our growth audit form, contact form, or founding-client application, we collect the details you provide — for example your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, industry, approximate lead volume or job value, the challenges you describe, and any message you send us.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and analytics below).
Payment information. If you make a payment, it is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number — Stripe handles card details directly under its own security standards.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and follow up about a growth audit or our services.
- To schedule and conduct calls, and to send you related confirmations and reminders.
- To set up, deliver, support, and bill for services you sign up for.
- To send you administrative and, where you have consented, marketing messages.
- To understand how our website is used and to improve our content and offering.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Consent
We collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent, which may be express (for example, when you submit a form or opt in to messages) or implied (for example, when you contact us about our services). You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us at the email below. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide certain services.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and measure and improve performance. We use the following third-party analytics and advertising tools, which may set their own cookies and process information about your visit:
- Google Analytics (website usage measurement)
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel (advertising measurement)
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (advertising measurement)
- PostHog (product and usage analytics)
You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of many advertising cookies through your browser or the tools each provider offers. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Email and SMS communications
We send commercial electronic messages in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). When you submit a form, we may send you a confirmation and follow-up about your request. We only send marketing messages where we have your consent or are otherwise permitted to do so. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages at any time.
Storage and international transfers
Some of our service providers store and process data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. As a result, your personal information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access requests by courts or government authorities. We take reasonable steps to ensure that providers handling your information offer a comparable level of protection.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business records, or to meet legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect it against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to its use. To make a request, email hello@localsflow.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law and may need to verify your identity first.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
